Chicken stuffed with rice

Ingredients


  • Chicken: two medium sized chickens
  • plain seasoning: a teaspoon
  • black pepper: a teaspoon
  • Cinnamon: a teaspoon
  • Egyptian rice: 3 cups (soaked and drained)
  • Hot water: 4 cups
  • minced meat: 500 grams
  • Nuts: to taste (almonds and pine nuts, for garnish)
  • salt: a teaspoon
  • How to prepare
  • Marinate the chicken with cinnamon, plain pepper, black pepper and salt, then boil
  • Put the meat on the fire and fry
  • Add rice and water and leave for 20 minutes until the rice is cooked
  • Drain the chicken from the boiling water, cool and then stuff it
  • Place in the oven for 10-15 minutes to brown the outer crust
