Chicken stuffed with rice
Ingredients
- Chicken: two medium sized chickens
- plain seasoning: a teaspoon
- black pepper: a teaspoon
- Cinnamon: a teaspoon
- Egyptian rice: 3 cups (soaked and drained)
- Hot water: 4 cups
- minced meat: 500 grams
- Nuts: to taste (almonds and pine nuts, for garnish)
- salt: a teaspoon
- How to prepare
- Marinate the chicken with cinnamon, plain pepper, black pepper and salt, then boil
- Put the meat on the fire and fry
- Add rice and water and leave for 20 minutes until the rice is cooked
- Drain the chicken from the boiling water, cool and then stuff it
- Place in the oven for 10-15 minutes to brown the outer crust
